Baratti

La Buca delle Fate is a small bay, accessible on foot or by boat. Surrounded by an attractive cliff with a very unusual rock formation. The sea is a dream; in fact this enchanting place owes its name to a legend which describes it as the home of some fascinating mermaids.

The beach can be reached in 20 minutes on foot from the Reciso car park.

Cala Violina

A strip of beach where the sea is entirely unpolluted. Enclosed by two promontories, it takes its name from a unique feature – tiny grains of quartz which tinkle a tune as you walk along the sand. Visitors not only benefit from the sea but also the challenge of getting there on foot or by mountain bike.
